A life-changing battle with kidney failure led Stuart to shift from editing to directing full-time, bringing a renewed urgency and authenticity to his voice behind the camera.
He has directed campaigns for Apple, Adidas, and Louis Vuitton, and worked with talents like Jamie Foxx, Naomi Osaka, and Lionel Messi. His debut short Carl’s Motel premiered at TIFF to international acclaim. As a producer, he’s championed celebrated films including Sundance winner If I Go Will They Miss Me and the Oscar-shortlisted Civic.
